Opening hours
Starting from March 12, 2025, the exhibition Secrets of the Body. A Journey into Human Anatomy through Medicine and Archaeology will have the following opening hours:
from Monday to Friday, 4 pm – 6 pm
Guided tour (included in the price):
- Fisrt visiting shift, 4 pm
- Second visiting shift, 5 pm

How to reach us
To visit it is possible to access the area of the Cittadella Galileiana from the entrance of Largo Padre Renzo Spadoni (along via Nicola Pisano) or from via Bonanno Pisano, taking via dei Macelli, which runs alongside the wall of the “Abetone” sports field. On foot, the Museum is about 25′ from the Pisa Centrale FS Station, about 15′ from the Pisa San Rossore FS Station, about 20′ from the parking lot for tourist buses in Via Pietrasantina.

By bus
- From Pisa Centrale Station
Bus linea 1+ – bus stop “Via Fermi 1” and then by foot for 4 minutes.
- From International Airport “G. Galilei” of Pisa
Shuttle Pisamover to Pisa Centrale Train Station, then by bus linea 1+ – bus stop “Via Rustichello 1” and then on foot for 4 minutes, or bus stop
The Museum is served by the LAM Rossa urban line, stop Rustichello 2 coming from the Pisa Centrale Train Station or the Airport, stop Bonanno 5 from the coach park (5′ from the Museum in both cases). Lines 5 and 21 (evening/night) also pass on the same route.
From Marina di Pisa port
At the bus stop in via Barbolani take bus line 1+ – stop Rustichello 2 coming from the Pisa Centrale Train Station or the Airport, stop Bonanno 5 from the coach park (5′ from the Museum in both cases). Lines 5 and 21 (evening/night) also pass on the same route.
Then from Pisa Centrale FS Station take the bus line 1+ – stop Rustichello 2 coming from the Central Station or the Airport, stop Bonanno 5 from the coach parking (5′ from the Museum in both cases). The lines 5 and 21 (evening/night) also pass on the same route.
- From Livorno port
Lam blue bus to Livorno Centrale FS Station and then bus line 10 bus Line 10 to Pisa – Sesta Porta, via Battisti.
Then from Pisa Centrale FS Station take bus line 1+ – bus stop Rustichello 2 coming from the Central Station or the Airport, bus stop Bonanno 5 from the coach park (5′ from the Museum in both cases). Lines 5 and 21 (evening/night) also pass along the same route.
